With her current Unbreakable tour in full swing and a new album on the way, it’s officially Janet Jackson season. Fans have welcomed the singer back with open arms after her lengthy hiatus, even propelling her new single “No Sleep” to number on the adult R&B charts. After wrapping up the North American leg of her tour in Honolulu, Jackson will take a short break before resuming the tour in Japan. EK fans shouldn’t fret. While no dates have been announced, she reportedly has been scheduled to perform at the O2 Arena in London, where her brother Michael was scheduled to perform before his tragic death in 2009. It’s as if she’s fulfilling the dream of her brother’s final tour. Singer Chris Brown’s recent UK performance turned heads, and not in a good way. As he performed his single “Take You Down”, Brown began simulating sex (with an imaginary woman). He even punched the stage at one point. Some fans cheered, while others were reminded of his 2009 assault on ex-girlfriend Rihanna. Brown may want to take that move out of his routine. With the N.WA. biopic “Straight Outta Compton” set for release on Friday, members Dr. Dre and Ice Cube appear on the cover of the upcoming issue of Rolling Stone magazine. The duo discusses the legendary group’s treatment of women in it’s lyrics, among other sensitive subjects. The latest issue of Rolling Stone magazine hits newsstands on Friday August 14.
