Singer Chris Brown announced that his upcoming album would be titled “Royalty” after his daughter and has now decided to feature the adorable toddler on the cover. The cover art features a shirtless Brown holding his daughter with both subject’s eyes closed. The black and white portrait was taken by Francesco Carrozzini. “Royalty” will be released Nov. 27. “Liquor”, the first single, is currently No. 61 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. A second single, “Zero”, was released last month. The album is the singer’s seventh and his first studio album since 2013. Justin Timberlake sang his way through his induction into the Memphis Music Hall of Fame on Saturday (Oct. 17), doing vocal impersonations of soul legends Al Green and Otis Redding, performing with Sam Moore of Sam & Dave and joked with friend Jimmy Fallon. The pop singer/actor accepted the honor in front of 21,000 people who laughed during his acceptance speech. The event honored musicians with strong connections to Memphis, known as the cradle of blues, soul/R&B and rock n’ roll. Sam & Dave, Elvis Pressley, guitarist Scotty Moore, Booker T. & The MGs drummer Al Jackson Jr., singer Alberta Hunter, blues pianist Memphis Slim and country singer Charlie Rich were also inducted. Keith Richards of the Rolling Stone accepted on behalf of Scotty Moore, who did not attend. British R&B star Craig David won a great deal of respect and reminded others of his other talents when a video of his mash-up of “Fill Me In” and Jack Us “Where Are U Now” with a rapid fire freestyle thrown in for good measure went viral. The one-time UK Garage star repeated his impressive lyrical burst for an audience of thousands. Major Lazer was his sidekick. Jack U and producer Major Lazer were so impressed with David’s cover for BBC radio that they invited the artist to join Major Lazer for a show at London’s Alexander Palace. David released his debut album “Born To Do It” in 2000. He later released “Slicker Than Your Average” in 2002, which reached No 32 on the Billboard 200. In less than 18 months, David had six UK top ten singles to his name.
