Despite rumors that Rhianna’s long awaited eighth studio album “Anti” will be released Nov. 6, a source close to the singer told Billboard magazine that’s the incorrect date. It’s also unlikely that “Anti” will be released Nov. 13, as that date will see a heated showdown between One Direction’s “Made In The A.M.” and Justin Bieber’s “Purpose” for the No. 1 spot on the Billboard 200. Rhianna revealed the cover art for her new album at a Los Angeles art gallery last week. Three singles have been released from the album. “Four Five Seconds”, “Bitch Better Have My Money” and “American Oxygen”. “Bitch Better Have My Money” hit No. 15 and “American Oxygen” stalled at No. 78. Rhianna has topped the survey 13 times, tying with Michael Jackson for the third-most Hot 100 No. 1s. Cable network BET’s Soul Train Weekend 2015 will be held in Las Vegas on Nov. 5-7. In addition to the Soul Train Awards returning to the Orleans Arena on Nov. 6, the three day music festival will conclude with a Nov. 7 concert headlined by R. Kelly and featuring special guests Kenny “Babyface” Edmonds and Common at the Mandalay Bay Events Center. Kicking off on Nov. 5 with a Grammy Foundation entertainment panel session and a welcome party, the weekend series of free and ticketed events will also include the official Soul Train Awards after party and charity golf tournament. The 2015 Soul Train Awards will air on BET and Centric on Tuesday Nov. 10 at 8 P.M. Chris Brown announced his upcoming album, “Royalty” will be released on Nov. 27. The singer made the announcement Tuesday during a radio interview with Hot 97’s Nessa and Camilo, with Nessa breaking the news after gushing over Brown’s parenting. The album is named after Brown’s 1-year-old daughter. Brown has been busy, as “Royalty’s” “Black Friday” was released following his Tyga collaboration, “Fan of a Fan: The Album”, from February and his last solo album, “X”, which was released a year ago.
