Jill Scott is a singer/songwriter/actress. She released her debut album “Who Is Jill Scott? Words And Sounds Vol. 1” in 2000. She followed that release with the albums “Beautifully Human: Words And Sounds Vol. 2” in 2004, “The Real Thing: Words And Sounds Vol. 3” in 2007, “The Light Of The Sun” in 2011 and “Woman” in 2015. Scott has also made several television and film appearances as well. She appeared on several episodes of the sitcom “Girlfriends” playing the role of Donna, a love interest of the character William Dent (Reggie  Hayes). She also appeared in the Showtime movie “Cavedwellers”. Her first film appearance was in “Hounddog”. She also appeared in Tyler Perry’s “Why Did I Get Married” and Why Did I Get Married Two”, among other films.
